Finally, if the OP can't clear Barri G2, they won't be able to deal with Karu/Maiz Final Hit dungeons anyway.

Yes, this too. Ridiculous suggestion, IMO. I'd go so far as to say that if OP can't complete G2 Barri without FH, he shouldn't be doing G2.
People who don't skip G1, or who get enough experience in the game so that they know what they're doing before they start G2, don't find the starting Barri runs to be a challenge. They find them boring, and a little pointless, and the cutscenes indicate this is by design.

This part is one of the easiest of the Generation 2 quests. If you can't get through here, you won't be getting through the harder quests. Practice doing ice-counter if you don't already know it. (although this method is a bit slow, you'll get through the dungeon.) If you need to level and practice, try Ciar beginner. It's similar to Barri, but the goblins are weaker. You can get a beginner pass from Ranald.

With the goblin and goblin archer combination, practice in Ciar normal, but lvl up before you do Ciar normal, with beginner, the problem with that is that there isn't the situation where a goblin and an archer aggros you at a time and therefore you don't come up with any stategies to combat the problem and with the imps, the only way you can practice on those is doing the actuall dungeon without the pass (warning: for Barri normal, at your lvl, you won't survive the boss, hell, I can't even land a blow on those ogre warriors and I have to hunt one for a quest! The Barri dungoen for g2 has a easier boss).
if youre willing to spend money on a pet, get a mini bear or something similar, then use SHIFT+click to order it to attack an archer while you attack another one, whoever finishes first should attack the remaining archer. Whatever you do, killing the archers first will make your life easier.
As for the imps, what i do is start with either smash or normal combo, then immediately load defense and walk twoard it. As soon as you hear it charge magic, cancel defense (ESC key, if you dont know) and hit it with a normal combo and repeat. If it hits you while in defense, well, still hit it with a normal combo. The hard part about this is that imps rarely spawn alone and they multi aggro, so again, a good pet helps alot here too (remember, SHIFT+click).
When you get to the Kobold Miners, use Ice counter to lure them away from each other and pick them off one by one. You have some more leeway here since they're in a boss room. A pet should not be necessary here. Actually, the boss is probably the easiest part of the dungeon.
moonflare307:You skipped G1 didn't you? I do not believe you'll finish G2 anytime soon. If you can't finish Barri you won't make it far. The first 5 Barri runs are the easiest dungeons in G2, excluding the wolf RP. Level in Ciar for a bit, kill field spawned imps and work out some tactics. Oh right, and don't forget to train WM and get a rank F Final Hit. I had to do G2 without FH and it was not pleasant.
