I clicked on the orange icon to run Mabinogi and then game start. Then I got an error saying the Hackshield file was corrupt, then to re-install Mabinogi. Error code: 0x00000101

Your Mabi installation is corrupted, reinstall it. Seriously. You probably got a virus if you didn't do anything to it.

I've tried installing it twice, going for a third time. Same error message coming up.

I've tried everything I've read about and nothing's working. I've looked in the host thing, it's fine. I've deleted folders and tried re-installing three times to no avail. I deleted Hacksheild and it re-installed and the problem's still there. I tried running the update and I get an error on that saying it can't copy the esvc.dll file. And fails.Is there a way to fix that?

Your antivirus program is eating ehsvc.dll

You may need to mark the mabinogi directory as "ignore from scanning", apparently NOD32, AVG, and Codomo have deleted this file before due to identifying the Themida protection on Hackshield consistant with malware. McAfee and Norton have also blocked it in the past from what I've read, but any problem with "ehsvc.dll" is directly hackshield.

Fresh reboot the PC, mark the directory you are installing to as 'safe' in the antivirus program (or turn it off completely if you want to risk it.) Install it, run mabi once to update it and then it should work if this is what the problem is.
