Re: how too get dragon blade?

Or don't bother. Just stick with a Claymore, exactly the same stats. DB's may look cooler, but a Claymore with the right colours can look cool too. Dragon Blades are overrated and overused lol

Re: how too get dragon blade?

totally agree, a dragon blade only gets about 2 max damage more than a claymore when fully modded, with gem upgrades they are about the same, though a fully modded dragon blade would have about +10 min damage +30-40 balance +5 crit, not to mention about 1.5k cheaper repair cost and overall, more choises, sucks that it costs 10x as much huh?

(did not mean for this post to become sarcastic, i completely agreed with you until i read up on both the articles)

Re: how too get dragon blade?

D.Blade is mostly for Style imo.

Peaca, Gachapon, Events are the trio in which the D.Blade is obtained from. Players get them from these 3 and sell for grossly inflated prices (True value for D.Blade is like 18k-ish)

And yes, its basically a stylish Claymore, so unless you REALLY want it, I'd probably stick with a Claymore.

No love for the Two Hander Sword tho D=

Possibly the best for Egoing/Spirit Weapon making.

Re: how too get dragon blade?

To answer you're question, most of the DBs that people are selling are from the event a few months back, and the others are from peaca runs.  I'd agree with everyone else and stick with a claymore if youre looking for dmg.  If you're looking for style...well jap daggers, onehander, twohander look way more stylish to me.

Re: how too get dragon blade?

A well modified dragonblade will yield more balance and more min damage (and slightly more max damage (no gem upgrades)) than a high max claymore.

This means you'll hit for higher damages more often when using a dragon blade, good for any low dex player.

The claymore is really inferior, but is an okay weapon for any high dex players.

There is NO SUCH THING as "true value". If people are willing to pay a high price for something that's exactly what it's worth. Value is relative. It's not written in the stars.

Hence why dyes are priced so high. T.T

Don't use 2 handed weapons unless they are fully modded and enchanted with enchants such as destruction, untamed, rough, etc

2 Handed enchants are rubbish. If you're going to use a 2 Handed weapon (claymore, dragon blade, w/e) Stick with modifications or Egoing.

I think what the dude meant by true value is if NPCs were to sell it.

I knew exactly what he meant, and yet he called it something else. There is NO SUCH THING as objective monetary value. I really hate it when people even so much as breath that stereotype. NPCs don't know piss, and they're cheapskates too. Actual value is determined based on supply and demand. There are very few dragonblades compared to the amount of people who want them. Hence the people who own and want to sell have great negotiating power. Some people charge much lower but either they didn't do their homework (why did I surrender that Masamune for only 1.5 million *weeps*) or they'd rather get rid of the item sooner for whatever reason.

Notice how much cheaper ravenboots are now that the bots farm them? I love bots. They're so good for the mabi economy!

And actually dragonblades can be useful as well as pretty. As far as I know, their splash upgrades give them the highest splash of any weapon, meaning you can clear whole rooms Inuyasha style, swinging your sword around and killing everybody without ever actually touching them.

    I use a Two-Handed Sword :D

It's a 35-60, 10% crit, 50% balance, 7 dura, + splash range, + splash damage. The splash from this thing is more exhilarating than windmill o.o

Two-Handed Swords have better balance and are cheaper than the Claymore o.0

Omg If I read the upgrades right you can get a max range of 720!! That's bigger than windmill rank 1 :O I gotta get me a DB >.<
