Last minute entry! :x I really botched up the coloring because I had to rush. I hope you guys enjoy. XD My first time posting anything art wise on the forums. /nervous

I've seen alot of entries. And I can say around half of them has some comment about themselves saying that they arent good artists or whatever. It really bothers me when someone says that. As an artist you should be able to stand up tall and say "hey. I'm proud of my work. I tried my hardest and I like it" and what other people say shouldnt affect that feeling. Everyone starts somewhere, and some are just ahead of the rest of us. Don't have such a small amount of confidence in yourself.
(unless you're one of those people who say it sucks but you really think its good and are just fishing for compliments. In that case you may jump off a lake. Yes. Off. Of a lake.)

Artists are never satisfied with their work. When you watch someone draw, you'll see them constantly erasing and or crumpling the paper.
Even the slightest mistake or quirk, it'll just ruin the whole picture for you.

Mmmh, I'm not sure I agree with that. While it's true that it's common for artists to be extremely critical of their own work (for me, this often stems from a work not quite matching what I originally planned, or knowing which areas I was struggling with and still might not be satisfied with), perpetual self-depreciating comments aren't very healthy.  :[  ...Especially when such comments come from novice artists (moreso when it's a plea for attention).  Be proud!  Cultivate a desire to improve, listen to constructive criticism (and try hard to realize that good critique is not a personal attack...it is meant to help you), and learn from your mistakes.  :]  You often have to go through a lot of bad drawings to get to the good stuff, and that's okay.  ^_^

Well here's a screenshot of me and some quick noob art of myself. Wow, You really done a nice piece of art work here. Im sure you gave lots of thought into what you wanted to draw and may of took you some time to get what you wanted to get. Even if you werent satisfied with what you got, you should be damm proud of what you made here lol I can draw but not as good as this(Yet I hope lol) I was planning to enter as well but was caught up with school and i had loads of work since its my last year in High. But This is really great! I like all the shading u put here, everything blends in and goes with the BG(back Ground) as well. The chess board was an awesome idea as well, specialy the little figures that are Chars, monsters,etc. Nice detail into them and picking which ones were the king and queen as well. Like the goddess  as the queen and the cat<--(LOL) and other char the king. Een got the succubus in there. I hope you will always keep drawing like this or even better, why not? lol Cause looks like u got a passion on art and have talent on it. Keep it up man, ur doing really good, ad hoping i can draw like this some day lol Again, nice work! pshhh~ what am i saying, AWESOME FANTASTIC ....whats another word im looking for lol idk buit you know what i mean. Good luck if ur trying to reach a goal in art, or any and hope u succeed :] Bye! ^_^
