After reading a couple of threads in this section I was inspired to
come up with my own story. My story idea would be a giant (Yes I'm
using a giant not an elf and not a human) infant who was separated by
his families convoy after an elf ambush. The giant infant would be
found by explorers exploring Iria. The Giant would be named Vales.
Vales would be brought back from Uldah where he would grow up in
Bangor. Some stuff would happen which would lead him back to Physis
where he was born. As he traveled alone across the harsh snow plains
of Physis he would be garbed in a giant wolf robe given to him by an
explorer at Port Ceann. He would also be holding the two items he was
found with which were a Very large shield and a pair of extremely big
boots. (I envisioned a Vales shield as a sled like item with the child
trying to keep warm int he large boots) After a series of event in par
ruins he would find himself in Vales only to find himself an outcast.
As the other giants stared into his Spaika Silver armor they scoffed
and demanded he be removed from the tribe/village. He would then have
to prove himself as a Man according to the villages customs. The
chief's son (his cousin) does not want him there and sends him on a
suicide mission to obtain the power locked away in every giant from the
village. After a series of challenges involving an infiltration of
Filia the elf capital he returns to find the village completely
destroyed. He finds the chief (Uncle) half dead. he tells the giant
that his son (Cousin) has also figured out how to unlock the power of
giants. Unfortunately he cannot control it and rampage through the
village. In the end the two face off on top of a mountain where they use their new found abilities to fight to the death.
In the end his cousin would become the Yeti that appears around Vales
as a field boss. Vales would then be remembered and much later whenthe village had become developed they name the town after him.
I was also thinking putting in a segment where he becomes blind and has to seek help from the elves to regain his sight.
Tell me what you think, this has actually been on my mind for awhile.
