    Re: Rabbie Solo Guide

First off, thanks for the positive comments. Secondly, there are obviously special situations that I haven't described in my guide that you have to react accordingly to. The number one situation is when you kill a skeleton and the next one that aggros is too far away across the room. If you go in to attack he'll hit you before you hit him. The best thing to do in these situations is activate defense or counter (for white skeletons only, usually, since the others have bows). When a skelly activates Smash, I lure them back to where the rest of the group is so I'll be in closer proximity to the rest of the skeletons, thus more likely to not get hit when the next one aggros me.

    Re: Rabbie Solo Guide

That omission got me killed once =P  Skele aggro'd across the screen, and I ran to hit him, and he whacked me across the room like a ragdoll.

I'm at the point where I can get through the white skele's and on to the reds, without taking wounds more than maybe 30% of my total HP (which is alot, I'll agree). The problem seems to be that on the video tutorial, the guy hits three times with his war hammer....mine does 2...how his does 3, I do not know, though I'm assuming it's an upgrade? Probably will be easier once I run back to tir and get my 2H out of the bank. I still think Ciar Beginner or Basic is better exp and money. I know I can't stay there forever though, so I'm trying.

That omission's gotten me killed a few times too :P I was just about to ask why they were sometimes just as fast as I was and then I read through the thread >.>

My sig is blander than yours.

    Re: Rabbie Solo Guide

About the 3 hits on the hammer: that's N+1.  It's a technique that lets you do 3 hits on a 2 hit weapon or 4 hits on a 3 hitter.  It's just a matter of delaying one (or two) of your attacks at the right moment.  Search around for a few threads on the topic.

Note, if you can't do N+1, just normal swinging will do fine.  However you do it, make sure you use a weapon you are VERY comfortable with when you go to Rabbie.. and bring a backup weapon (a weaker weapon to use on mimics, bats, and rats so you can save dura on your main).

If you are JUST thinking of exp and cash, Ciar is better.  Rabbie is for those that want a challenge, don't want to repeat the same dungeon over and over (one rabbie trip is around 5-10 ciar beginner trips. and I get sick of going in a dungeon after 2 repeats), and to visit Succy (note that no one talks about the goblin army that shows up when you go in a party... since Rabbie is almost always soloed :P).  Honestly, meeting Succy alone was worth the trip for me.  She kicks.

After Ciar, I'd say Math would be the next dungeon to go, or one of the upper ones.  Note that once you hit around L35, many people think more of rebirthing than leveling.. at least their first time around.

Ever felt like this some days?

    Re: Rabbie Solo Guide

Oh, yeah, I didn't know that there was a name for doing that. I've done that in Ciar basic (hit one thing, then turned around and hit something else, then turned around and finished off the one that was aggro'd to me. Same principal I guess)

I'm at 30, and I'm more than ready to rebirth. I understand that no amount of rebirths will help if I can't figure out how to read enemies. Then again...if I had more AP, I could literally upgrade the skill that helps you read enemies....=P

How many floors is Rabbie, if I might ask? I got to the second floor (near the end, I'd estimate) before running out of bandages and holy water. If Succubus was just around the corner, I'll be pretty miffed ><

Surprisingly, Skeleton Wolves are probably the hardest thing to kill in the entire cave (except for succubus). Atleast, for me anyway. My lag means I can either just barely fire counter them, or if not, I get smashed and I'm in for some pain. White skeletons are no longer a challenge, and your guide is mostly to thank. Thank you ^_-

Oy vey. I was in the middle of a 3 hit on a metal skellie when my attacks became "ineffective", as the on-screen message says. Whatever in Hell was that? And it was only the second room of the second floor, too.

Oh, I see now. It must be that Passive Defense thing I've been reading about. I should have been more cautious and stopped attacking like my instinct told me. But I just had to click that extra time. -_-

Anyway, once my attack bounces off of the Metals, should I bust out Windmill immediately? What if there're other Metals in the vicinity? Charge a Bolt? Wait it out? Or, was it REALLY Passive Defense? I didn't see any skill icons above its head, but it felt just like smacking something with Def on and watching your sword bounce horribly back.

    Re: Rabbie Solo Guide

Thank you for this! I still have a very hard time with metal skels, but this helped me get a lot farther in Rabbie than I had before.

    Re: Rabbie Solo Guide

well I agree with u I started to solo rabbie dungeon (normal) when I was nearly level 35, after dying a few times I figured a way to solo it (before didn't read this guild/forum)

n after I finish soloing first floor sec floor and finally the third floor was abit difficult, very less exp (for lvl35+) but if becareful enough don't get dt, would be just fine. And I was doing the same thing you once said here (about the same^.^)

then I try it with a new file// lvl 15, it's a bit hard to beat the norm skeletons/many hits but other things fine, but it also likes to headon with you when you are lower lvl, mostly one hit kill, so when you becareful enough. it should be fine, like Tekashi said smash, run back a bit kept a distance dont attack other monsters yet, watch the *X* on top of the skelies if it's with *X* on top n running toward u attack it. And if it stops, with *X* on top, run close to it, n rdy to hit it, when the *X* disappares quickly attack it, after a couple times it'll be dead. then quickly press ct, and it should get the next guy falling into your hands!

Red skelies, instead of w8ing besid dem, wen dey get up, sometimes is good to have a magic/ fire/ lightning or ice is all okay, hit it be4 do archering, and just do the same thing as the norm skelies..

for Metal.. mostly the same but if it gets up n dont run to u, best way to do is w8, or do magic attack, (in one pt u might need to waste quite abit of mana, so be prepare and bring some with u, and everything should work out rite, have fun.
