Seriously, explaining the combat system alone can take one page of a forum lol....
Btw, I linked this FAQ in my Q&A topic.

DX The Kitae-nator is working on it as we speak.
Marriage doesn't really bring any advantages. At first, the marriage allowed the two couples to be able to summon each other. Now, all it give you is the title married and a wedding ring that has carved message from the other person
The days in mabinogi do not concided with the actual game days. Difference between Day and Night is that at night, one can gain mana without using the skill concentration while in the morning, this is not possible. Also, some quests require certain time of the day to do
As mabinogi is an extremly realistic game, as it saids, one can create cook, make clothes or even be a blacksmith. Yes these items can be enchanted meaning make better.
Smash > Defence, Defence > regular attacks, Defence > Windmill (a skill that does a windmill to the surrounding enemies), Counter > Smash,
Counter> Regular attacks, Windmill > Counter Attack, Regular attacks> Smash,
Guild points show the influence of the guild. The more higher the guild points not only change the appearence of the guild stone (where everyone can join the guild) but allows the guild to have more functions such as allowing it to occupy the castle. (There are two castles in mabinogi and are placed in the housing areas)

vhzptans:Marriage is possible. However, I do not know about same-gender marriage, but I do know that it requires a great amount of in-game money, not real money. I do not know if marriage comes with any advantages (besides a very nice marriage animation). Would someone clarify this? Marriage doesn't really bring any advantages. At first, the marriage allowed the two couples to be able to summon each other. Now, all it give you is the title married and a wedding ring that has carved message from the other person Time does pass in the game. From what I've gathered, a day in Mabinogi is roughly 30 minutes. There are also Day/Night times, along with weather. However, I am not sure if Day/Night times coincide with the game days or real time. The days in mabinogi do not concided with the actual game days. Difference between Day and Night is that at night, one can gain mana without using the skill concentration while in the morning, this is not possible. Also, some quests require certain time of the day to do Clothing can be customized. That is, clothing can be made and dyed, even sold to others. I'm not sure whether or not they can be enchanted. Someone help me clarify this. As mabinogi is an extremly realistic game, as it saids, one can create cook, make clothes or even be a blacksmith. Yes these items can be enchanted meaning make better. The combat system is in real time. That is, it is not done on a turn-by-turn basis. There are three basic 'modes' in battle, resembling a rock-paper-scissor match; Smash, Defend and Counter-Attack. If I remember correctly, Smash breaks through Defend, Defend guards most successfully against Counter-Attack and Counter-Attack can retaliate better against Smash attacks. Someone more experienced than me, please clarify this Smash > Defence, Defence > regular attacks, Defence > Windmill (a skill that does a windmill to the surrounding enemies), Counter > Smash, Counter> Regular attacks, Windmill > Counter Attack, Regular attacks> Smash, Guilds are also possible, but they require real cash/NX. This is to prevent millions of abandoned guilds from being created. The reason why they needed to do this is because Guilds have a Guild Stone where hopeful recruits can join the guild. Having a million of these would take up a lot of space and maybe lag the game play. Guild Points may be earned through activities that I am not sure about. Someone please help clarify this. Thanks, I'll integrate most of this into the FAQ. I say most because Kitaek27 is working on a battle guide, which should have some things you posted. If he leaves something out that's in here, I'll ask him about it.

...is that a joke, or are you serious? Isn't a lute an instrument?
Well, if it is true, what type of weapon is the lute?

You have free reign to do whatever you want. But if you do, I'll gladly link it to this. As for battle strategy, let's wait for kitaek27's combat guide to come out first before deciding on making battle strategy guides.
About the honored member thing - I have no clue. I logged on and there it was o.o Maybe they do a daily check and it's not time yet?
oh.. kitaes.. already on it..
TwT GOSH darnit ^^ .. huk..
oh well...
maybe ill write a guide on how to change the color of your clothing ^^ and talk about customization system...
truelf:oh.. kitaes.. already on it.. TwT GOSH darnit ^^ .. huk.. oh well...
Don't get me wrong. I don't think his combat guide will have a section devoted to defeating certain monsters. His guide is more of an explanation of how to battle (perhaps in an effective way). If you wish, you are more than welcome to create a guide/FAQ about facing certain monsters within the game.
