Now seeing it from a different angle,
the common flu kills around 36,000 people annually in the US, I don’t remember
exactly how many people die each year of common flu, Around 500,000. So To be
honest I would be more scared of the common flu ^^.
From other hand the WHO this year
changed its definition of Pandemic, the new definition claims this requisites.
- There must be a disease new to a population - or at
least a disease that had not surfaced for a long time.
- This disease must be caused by disease-causing agents
that infect humans, causing serious illness.
- The agents must spread easily and sustainably among
humans.
While the old one, it needed another
requisite that it needed to have a high morbidity and mortality rate.
It’s funny how they change the
definition before they announce the AH1N1 Pandemic at June 21.
Each year 8 million people die of
hunger while other millions of people die of Cardiovascular complications (means
fatness) and nobody makes a fuss ' '...
