    Re: Home Page Criticism

I would also like to add to this (I didnt see this anywhere on the thread) that the NPC description for Trefor accidentally got replaced by Piaras's description. Also looking at many of the NPC descriptions, many of the paragraphs are nearly identical to each other and are probably not all nessasary
    Walter:
They say Walter was carpenter when he was young. He used to build houses and household items. He must've been pretty good as many people inquired his service. His gruff personality probably comes from his younger days as a carpenter. When the lumber house moved to Dugald Aisle, he quit his job and started a general shop. Although he hasn't quite shaken off his carpenter persona, if you get to know him, he is very soft hearted and kind. You don't believe me? Well, can you believe that the sweet lady at the bookstore is his daughter? The grumpy, blunt, and gruff man at the grocery store is known as Walter. A carpenter when he was younger, Walter excelled at building houses and household items. His carpentry was so masterful that many people still inquire about his services. After the lumber yard moved to Dugald Aisle, he quit his job and started a general shop. Beneath the rough exterior lies a kind softie. Much like the sweet lady at the bookstore who happens to be his daughter.

Speaking of consistency, I'd like to make a slight note about translation/guide correlations. It was well reknowned in English communities that the life of the weapon would be called "Durability" years ago, and guides/wikis were made. However, with the release of CB and PreOB we are proven horribly wrong with the word "Proficiency". After we found and changed all the words "Durability" to "Proficiency", I read a article on the Mabinogi Tips page saying the word "Durability". Make up your mind. Now I have to go back and change all my guides AGAIN.

I was very sure proficiency was the "숙련" on the KR version

the stat "Durability" was still there

    dsag

I really dig the site, the only thing that I can't stand is the menu's oversized and casual fonts... Plus the scaling animation looks really cheap. Good site overall, screw typo's! Beginners guide ftw!

    Re: dsag

As a fellow web developer, I think the website is very slick and easy to use. The simplicity of the content makes any loading times non-existent and the page browsing experience a pleasant one.

A MAJOR step up from the previous site.

Ugh, no. No music. Unless they allow us to turn it on/off. I like listening to my OWN music when I'm searching the web. That's what I hated about the old site, I had to pause the stupid movie everytime I visited.

Even if everyone says we're wrong, it doesn't matter so long as I'm with you

Hopefully the user menu will be imported from the Korean version of the webpage, allowing us to input our personal music into our profile and submissions.

    Re: Home Page Criticism

Somehow i can't agree more on ur points.

Apart from the Manus part (is it coz of his name?), the other stuff about the website is so true. I think nexon is being very, i mean very, commercial about Mabi.
