    Re: Money Making

    The money just kind of flows in for me. The best way is probrably just to go dungeoning. Pick up anything that might be of value (ex. burnables with good enchants) and sell it. Collect fomor scolls and trade them in. When I first started I did Ciar beginner for money. Now I do Rundal hardmode, but that's mostly for the EXP and not money. ^__^;

Some other methods I know people use are holy water farming and tofu farming. Metallurgy is also a pretty good way of making money.

    Re: Money Making

I find that buying an sellin stuff can make quick and large profits.  Just today i bought a 15 dur cutlass from a person who was having a big sale or something for 4.5k.  Because its 15 dur (the norm is 10) i made a quick profit of 30k.  The same person also sold a two hander for 5k if i remember correctly and i resold it for 20k. Selling them didnt affect my play much (just abit annoying having a big sign on ur head) but still, its was a quick 45k profit of doing nothing in just one.  Or the other time, whe i traded a goggle cap (now worth 600k-700k in tarlach) for a flashy white and blk muffler (about 1.1m with flashy), thats like a 300-400k profit and these things can add up.  Catching good deals can literally earn you ALOT of money.  However, to merchant you first need some money to start off and then you also need a general idea of prices in your server so that you no whats a good deal and whats not.

    Re: Money Making

if you've taken the time to get a high rank Firebolt you could Wyveren hunting is godlike money making (at least at the moment it is)

at rank 1, firbolt can literaly 1 hit ice wyverens, and if you solo thats 6 stars a full charged firebolt. work up about 40-50 stars and you can walk away with 30k up to 1.5 or heck if im thinking right (not sure on the Lighting Worrior's price) you can wind up getting maby 5 mil per run if your lucky and can consistantly get 50 ish stars

yes it is luck dependant but its MUCH better then trudging through Alby for 4 for an AR 8.

it also can give HUGE ammounts of herbs like rafting (altho its not mana herbs unless im wrong) or exp. heck i think the cash reward itself is around 30k.

but if your like me and are mostly Mele with horrificly "almost curse like lol" bad luck then your best bet is to randomly run ADV dungeons. hardmode dungeons (although insain exp) dont really give lots of money UNLESS there are many popular clothing drops and even then people are very picky about colors and ...well the clothing itself. (Tarlach people OBSESS over black and white stuff FYI)

    for insance some examples

Rundal HM = Vintage Starry Wizard hat and if your INSAINLY LUCKY Vintage Admiral Coat (M or F)

Alby ADV HM = the godly Vintage Goggle Cap and Vintage Dragon Felix Helmet (insainly expencive on thier own but vintage lol lets just hope Ol' tedders would buy it)and starlight (course the difficulty here is prooobobly compareable to Pacea, user beware)

Ciar Hardmode = Vintage Thief Cap/ Vintage Cores thief gloves and Vintage Open Finger gloves

at rank 1, firbolt can literaly 1 hit ice wyverens, and if you solo thats 3 stars with a full charged firebolt. And titled Wyverns have more HP, but give double the stars .work up about 51+ stars and you can walk away with 17k. If you find a lightning warrior's mask you can wind up getting maby 1-2 mil per run if your lucky and can consistantly get 50 ish stars. Or you can get a burst warrior item which is less rare than a lightning warrior mask but is worth around 200-500k depending on your server.

yes it is luck dependant but its MUCH better then trudging through Alby for 4 for an AR 8.

it also can give stacks of herbs like rafting or exploration exp. heck i think the cash reward itself is around 17k.

     Fix'd

For the most part you were right. Ballooning is a great way to make gold. They payoff is decent, and you can find rare items.

It takes me less than 5 minutes to get 51+ stars(10 big stars) and I get 17k per run.

    Re: Money Making

I made 1 million in the recent Iria event, and another 1.5 million in the Halloween event, but several hundred thousand farming leathers. Cheap, common, fine, and finest leathers will ALWAYS be in demand and it's easy to contract with someone who produces leather items. In Ruari anyway they tend to be desperate for supplies and the price has been going up. 7k for ten common leathers. 9k for just one fine leather. 16K for one finest leather. You can't go wrong. The only trouble is finding them. If Kobold bandits are "Strong" to you, they'll drop a lot of common and some higher leathers, so prof your weapons in Reighnegalt or however the heck that's spelled. Eventually you'll become too strong for them to drop enough leathers to be worth it, so work on being able to solo Math dungeon. The kobolds in there are stronger and will drop lots of leather. 10 Kobold scrolls will also fetch 4K so grab 'em. They drop frequently. Aside from all that, here's a list of general advice.

1.Keep everything blessed. Don'y buy the holy water, but be patient and farm it yourself. I keep 10 on me and 10 on a pet at all times.

2.When you're not about to use a weapon, keep it in your inventory. All equipment degrades slowly when equiped no matter what. That's why it's also good to have more than one set of clothing to wear. Don't wear that heavy armor all the time unless you want to gain proficiency. Wear clothing that's cheaper to repair until you need the armor for tough enemies. Keep accessories in your inventory until you need them as well.

    3. Dedicate one pet's inventory space to fomor scrolls and collect all kinds. Even ones you don't encounter frequently will slowly fill except, maybe a few beginner monsters you'll eventually come to ignore.

    4. Don't take it too far. Some things are worth sacrificing for. Particularly good repairs. If there's something you really want to keep intact, repair with Edern or whoever gives the highest percentage for your item without exception. Obviously not everything will be this precious right away, but eventually all your equipment will be upgraded and enchanted. Good equipment helps down the road more than a lot of people think, especially starting out. You don't play this game to be rich, you play it to OWN things right in the face. Money is just another means to that end.
