Dunno about "best", but I'd give it a high rating.
Best...I agree with Icebolt. World of Warcraft. Biggest problem with that game is the monthly payments. Almost $15 a month is pretty steep. For me, at least...
Second best...I wanna say Anarchy Online. It's lousy if you can't get Shadowlands expansion and don't have any friends to play with, though. Plus, it's all grinding past level 20. Monthly fee isn't as high...it's not worth playing for free, though, since the expansions makes it worth playing.
The other MMOs I've played aren't even worth mentioning.
I mean, Mabi is great...but it's really tough to play it without paying at least $10 for a mount to make it easier to get around. It's the only MMO I've played where you have to pay for additional characters as well as full use of your character's bank storage. But, what keeps it outta 3rd place on my list is that it's solo-able. None of my RL friends play it, yet I have fun in the game. Yea, I'm still on G1 due to that, but...it's tough, but do-able.
So, I'd say Mabi ties for second with AO. WoW is still the top.
