Uhm, yesh, so, I feedz dis thread?
Try merchanting. Buying low, selling high? o.o
Start with small stuff like, leathers or something.
Then you can move on to bigger stuff like Starlight/Muffler Robes, buy ugly ones, dye, resell. PROFIT!
Or start working on production skills. I recommend weaving and tailoring simultaneously OR metallurgy/refining/blacksmithing.
Blacksmithing costs way more monery than tailoring to rank but it also lets you make more profit as you progress through the ranks. I suppose you could sell ingots/ores for funding.
Tailoring+weaving doesn't take much money to rank, most of the items are fairly easy to gather. (Leathers = Math, Fabric = Weave, Cobwebs = Spiders, Wool = Sheep)
And you can still make a decent profit later on making stuff like BBFs or SSBLs.
But still, the most important thing is increasing combat skills :<
