hey you guys since everyone is making guides now days.. i decided i will make a race guide~
Be mindful of the fact that, elves and giants do not come until later on in game. This is due to the fact that they update in what we call, Generations. Elves come into play G5S1 (Generation 5 Season 1), while Giants dont come into play until G6S1 (Generation 6 Season 1).
ON REGAURDS TO REBIRTHING, when rebirthing you can only change the gender, age, and the way your character looks. You CANNOT rebirth into a different race.
We do not know how fast the game will update; however, if they do one generation a month, than we will have elves in around 5 months and giants in 6 months.
GUIDE TIME~
Prequisite"Both races are completely unbalanced in terms of stats, and a loss of balance in stats can be disastrous in this game." (credit to Kitaek27)Humans are the most practical and balanced race.
ELVES! What can they do? whats soo special? do they have any cool abilities? whats their difference?
Disadvantages
(Credit to Kitaek27) Quote: "Elves have a even worse disadvantage. Even though their dex is much higher when leveling and aging, they gain much less through Archery, and in the long run even though you have the potential to have more dex than a human, you'd have to work much harder as well"
Recomended Profession(Be mindful that there are no Jobs in game, these are just... suggested "Proffesions")
GIANTS~
Recommended Profession
Humans
SPARTANS!! WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION?!
Am i missing something? Well let me know and ill add it to the list~!Be mindful.. There will be a human section coming soon ~
more information to come and questions are welcomed
i will update the guide later on in the day ..(adding a human section)
so i will answer all questions about humans momentarily..<types frantically>...><
probably shouldnt let this thread die either... i just saw another race thread
This should help me get started.
Thanks a lot
Trying very hard huh?
There are a few things you could add to the list. First of all, mention that giants cannot dual wield bladed objects. Although you mentioned they can dual wield blunts, it wasn't mentioned this important fact.
They cannot use final hit either. Also, they have the ability to carry around humans. Furthermore, it should be noted that they can knock down certain types of trees and use the log as weapons. They are crucially important to hunting wendigo, who will not die correctly without the use of stomp + icicle.
Whats most important, is the stats for elves and giants. Both races are completely unbalanced in terms of stats, and a loss of balance in stats can be disastrous in this game. Giants may gain additional strength, but they severely lack dexterity, making them lose a lot of damage balance. And without archery skills, they cannot raise their dexterity very easily. They CANNOT use any string, air type instruments either. They MISERABLY lack intelligence, making for pathetic mages.
Elves have a even worse disadvantage. Even though their dex is much higher when leveling and aging, they gain much less through Archery, and in the long run even though you have the potential to have more dex than a human, you'd have to work much harder as well.
What you should do in your list of recommended profession (you spelled profession wrong for giants by the way), is move mage up to the top of the list. Their boost in intelligence is TREMENDOUS, their mana costs is actually SMALLER than a human's, and their natural dexterity completely balances out what is missing from the damage thats already high from the intelligence.
Lastly, for Giant Profession, throw in party supporter. Giants throw ability, stomp ability, MASSIVE assault power all makes for an EXCELLENT party support. Some giants focus directly on stomp, which does NOT throw an enemy off course (although it flinches them), at great ranges for up to 100 damage.
Try to change that "(NOTE - if you miss your first shot, your second shot will miss as well)" into if you miss your first shot, your second arrow following will miss as well, to prevent confusion.
Also, they shoot one arrow if they're either down to one arrow, or needs to change to the next set of arrows. Another exception to the 2 arrow rule is support shot.
Lastly, add to giant's disadvantage that they CANNOT share a ride with each other. You CANNOT put two giants into one two person animal. You CANNOT put a giant and a human/elf on a human/elf's animal. You CAN put a giant and a human/elf on a giant's animal.

There were info missing, and I just told you everything you should add.

Well, you were missing alot of stuff but you are right on him critisizing you. Your first sentence waskinda too straight forward, kitaek. BE more modest and being an honored memeber shows that you are kind and helpful, not just helpful. But thanks for all the info, it does help ^^.

Haha, yeah I guess you're right.
But we weren't exactly on formal relations either... having played this game together for like 3 years we kinda throw insults at each other a lot... lol... friends do that, right? It wasn't supposed to be taken so heavily. >W<;;;;
sorry.
