I have palyed mabinogi for one year I have amased about 30 thousand gold, I need more money, anybody got any ideas?

i've been around since OB and i've saved up about... 800k....

all i did was have saving goals.

just keep telling yourself.

ok need to get to 50k.

-puts in bank- (btw don't ever take money out of your bank if you do it this way cuz you'll end up broke again, i'm sure)

ok need to get to 100k

-puts 50k in bank-

ok need to get 200k

-puts 100k in bank-

ok need to...

:P how i did it? make it by using only a robe and wooden blades for equips.

never buy anything.

it's like being that craggy old millionaire lady... forget when she lived... but she was a millionaire who ate cold oatmeal everyday :P

I tend to do that. But I keep needing to draw out money to pay for repairs....

Gachaponing = money for me. xD

what I do to make money is run a dungeon. but the best dungeons for money making (and that one can do solo) are Ciar and Rabbie. Also, the quantity of money u get from a dun depends on the lvl of dungeon u enter... for example: u make more or less 2k-3k in one run in beginner, and 5k-6k in normal. plus u get more collecting (as u make a run) Fomor scrolls from monsters and buying (after making a stack) the quests for it. U make 6k for 10 mimic fomor scrolls.

and that what I do for money making (that and selling stuff).

Gacha spamming is like selling your mabi soul... 

 If you dont' have tons of NX at your disposal then dungeoning for rare drops is pretty much the only real quick way to make money, but it is kind of luck dependent.  Lifeskills make money too but tend to be slower.

Though, with Lion's method, you could make 60k in 15 minutes, which is twice the amount of halflife's gain in half the time.

Best way to make money is to live cheaply. Bless everything that is expensive to repair and/or you use often. Buy a cheap set of weapons (or just use bare fists) for 'everyday' use. I.E. Do you really need to use your awesome hooked cutlass to kill a bunch of rats you could otherwise punch out with your fists? You'll be surprised at how much better you get and how quickly you get there when you start limiting yourself like that. Spam Rabbie and Ciar. Do some quick exploration quests. Find a production hobby and get good at it. Participate in all the events. Sooner or later you'll be rich. This isn't something that can be done in a day, so concentrate more on your character than making money, because you can easily get more money with a more hardcore character.

My ways for making money~

Have a goal (mine was alchemy coat in G9...still waiting for it =D)

Run dungeons and save a little bit after each dungeon~

~Extra money if you keep the saving spirit~

....But also a warning (and yes it has happened to me)

~Too much money makes you lazy

 Set a goal..like a piece of clothing and start savin =D

Ooh also, gachas~ I was lucky enough to get raccoon cub wizard suit for men and sell it~

Hard to earn from blacksmith while you need to gather so many material (pay beforehand) and wait for customers.

I think the best to go is Smile's idea in farming rare item such as FB 10, wooden needle, etc and sell them.
