It‘s that time again—time to commemorate the second anniversary of the Nexon Forum. It is you, our players, which have created this community. So please take this opportunity to celebrate with us the importance of our community. We’ve come a long way and you made this happen. Many changes are anticipated for Nexon and the Nexon player community. This year just adds to the many more that will come!
This year’s event is quite bigger than the last. We hope we’re not asking for too much. We will be requiring your creative and artistic skills because we want you to design a t-shirt for the Nexon Community Anniversary 2!
The designs you submit will be narrowed down by your peers and the final selection will be chosen by the Customer Support Team. The winning design will be made into T-shirts with the designer getting his/her very own creation.
Designing Rules
1. Pick a T-shirt background color.
2. A maximum of 3 colors can be used for the design.
3. Must say “Nexon Community Anniversary 2” somewhere.
4. Do not make the design game specific, make a design that best captures the persona of the forum community.
Event Duration
Design submissions will run for two weeks from April 10th to April 24th. A poll will open up on April 28th for you to vote for your favorite design. The poll will be available for a week and from the top 4 popular designs, the Customer Support Team will pick the winning design. Please note the Customer Support Team has final say on the winning design.
Prize
The winning designer will receive recognition, 30,000 NX Cash, and a T-shirt of the winning design.
The three runner-ups will receive a T-shirt of the winning design.

DESIGN A T-SHIRT CONTEST
RULES AND REGULATIONS
BY ENTERING THE CONTEST YOU MUST AGREE TO THESE RULES, WHICH CREATE A CONTRACT SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING.
1. SPONSOR: Nexon America Inc, who is solely responsible for all aspects of this contest ("Contest").
2. CONTEST PERIOD AND ENTRY; NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: This Contest may only be entered by Internet, during the period commencing at 6:30 P. M., April 10, 2009, and ending at 11:59:59 P.M., April 24, 2009 (the “Contest Period”), as a registered member ("Member") of Nexon.net (the "Web Site"), by visiting the Web site and logging in by providing your Member Name and Password. For purposes of these Official Rules ("Rules"), all times and days are Pacific Time. If you are not a Member, you may easily register for free to become a Member through the link on the site: www.nexon.net by filling out the simple Registration Form. Upon registration, or if you are already a Member, you may enter this Contest visiting the event subforum located on each Nexon game forum board. There is no purchase necessary to enter this contest; however, normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service will apply.
3. PROCEDURES: Members shall submit one (1) T-Shirt design that displays the words “Nexon Community Anniversary 2” anywhere on the T-Shirt (“Entry”). All Entries shall be submitted through the submission link specifically created for this contest on the Nexon website. No more than one (1) Entry per Member may be submitted to the Contest. At the close of the Contest Period, the Nexon community will be given the opportunity to vote for their favorite Entry where the top four (4) Entries with the most votes (“the Top Four”) shall be the finalists in the Contest. Once the Top Four have been determined by the community, then Sponsor’s Customer Support Team shall select one (1) Grand Prize Winner and three (3) Runner-up Winners, subject to the conditions set forth herein. After the Winners are chosen, Sponsor shall send notification to the Winners via e-mail which shall also include a request for each Winner’s mailing information. Each Winner shall have 48 hours to respond to Sponsor’s message and supply its mailing information to be eligible to receive their Prize. Upon response, Sponsor shall then verify whether each Winner is in good standing with Sponsor’s Web Site. Disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: [1] In the event Sponsor identifies a Winner who has been banned the Web Site, [2] the return of any notice as undeliverable; [3] a potential winner's failure to respond to Sponsor’s notification within 48 hours of receipt and [4] any other non-compliance with the Rules. In the event of disqualification, a new winner will be chosen by the Customer Support Team subject to the same procedure set forth above. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED. The Winners shall be chosen at Sponsor’s sole discretion. A list of the Winners may be provided, by sending a self addressed stamped envelop to Nexon America Inc. at 137 N. Larchmont Blvd., #619 Los Angeles, CA 90004-3704. Allow 8-10 weeks for reply.
4. PRIZE: The following Prizes will be awarded, subject to the procedures set forth in Section 3 above.
(1) GRAND PRIZE
- 30,000 NX Cash and a T-Shirt based on the winning design Entry.
(3) RUNNER UP PRIZES
- One T-Shirt based on the winning design Entry
Upon verification as set forth above, the Prizes will be sent to each Winner within 30 days after verification. The value of Prize is neither transferable nor redeemable for cash. No substitution allowed, unless elected by Sponsor at its own discretion.
5. LIMITATIONS: No more than one (1) prize will be awarded per Member chosen by Sponsor. In event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person entered into the Contest, the Entry will be deemed to be the person whose name the membership is registered. Entries by any method other than set forth above are void. Any use of automated or programmed methods of effecting Entry is prohibited. Open only to persons 13 or older upon entering who are legal residents of, and physically located within, the 50 states, Washington D.C. or Canada (excluding Quebec) ("Territory") and not employees of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies; the advertising, promotional or fulfillment agencies of any of them (individually and collectively, "Entities"); nor members of their households or immediate families. In addition, persons entering the Contest must be in good standing with Sponsor’s Web site and have not been banned from MapleStory. Neither the Entities, nor any of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents or representatives (individually and collectively, "Releasees") are responsible for Entries from persons residing, or physically located, outside the Territory, or Entries that are altered, delayed, deleted, destroyed, failed, fraudulent, improperly accessed, inaccurate, incomplete, interrupted, late, lost, misrouted, multiple, non-delivered, stolen, tampered with, unauthorized or unintelligible; or any printing, production, technical, electronic or other errors; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications; failed phone, computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions; technical failures; unauthorized human intervention; traffic congestion; garbled or jumbled transmissions; undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering; insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail; or other errors of any kind, whether due to electronic, mechanical or human error or other causes; even if caused by the negligence of any of the Releasees. Each of such potential Entries will be disqualified. Void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, local and municipal laws and regulations.
6. CONDITIONS: Each entrant by entering the Contest agrees that: [1] he/she will abide by and be bound by the Rules and the Sponsor's decisions; [2] the Entry becomes solely the Sponsor's property and will not be acknowledged; [3] the Releasees are not responsible for claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of the prize; participation in the Contest or in any activity or travel related thereto or from any interaction with, or downloading of, computer Contest information; [4] Each Winner's acceptance of the prize constitutes the grant to Sponsor by Winner of the exclusive rights and ownership of the winning entry and the design thereto selected and assigns of an unconditional right to use winner's name and prize information and/or statements about the promotion for any publicity, advertising and promotional purposes and/or the right to exploit merchandising based on the winning design without additional compensation; [5] in the event of viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, Acts of God, acts or regulations of any governmental or supra-national authority, war, national emergency, accident, fire, riot, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism or other matters beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control, corrupt, prevent or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Contest, so that it cannot be conducted as originally planned, the Sponsor has the right to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the Contest; and in such event, to select a winner by random drawing from among all eligible Entries received up to such time of cancellation, modification, termination or suspension; 
the Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Contest, including but not limited to: errors in the advertising, Rules and selection and announcement of the winner; [7] any portion of the Prize not accepted or used by the winner will be forfeited and 
the Releasees are not responsible for any inability of the winner to accept or use the Prize (or any portion thereof) for any reason. [9] the design entered into the contest shall include only materials that the Member alone creates for the Contest and not include services, contributions, graphics, video, music, photos, text, copyrighted materials or trademarks belonging to any third parties or incorporating the names, likenesses, voice or personas of any real person or entity other than the Member; [10] the design submitted must not include any matter or material that (a) is sexually explicit, unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; (b) is obscene or offensive, or may create public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule; (c) defames or invades publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any third party’s or Sponsor’s personal or intellectual property rights or contain disparaging remarks about other people or companies; (d) are inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which the Sponsor wishes to associate (which may be determined by the Sponsor, at its sole and absolute discretion); and/or (e) otherwise violates these Official Rules; [11] the design submitted shall not make or imply any claim regarding Sponsor’s products or services and any statements or opinions in any Contest Submission shall be honest, accurate and based on actual experiences; [12] Any depiction of Sponsor’s product or service shall not suggest an inappropriate, unlawful or dangerous use of the product or service; and [13] Sponsor makes no guarantee or affirmative obligation that the Winner’s design or any other design submitted hereto shall actually be used.
