Since this is an anniversary event, I reminisced about my earliest days of the game. Back in those days, the most powerful boss in the game was, and probably still is, Ferghus. If slamming swords against giant moving slabs of rock and skeletons made of adamantium doesn't completely destroy the swords, there should be nothing within reason that does. However, Ferghus defies all logic with his unbeatable destructive power. This cake is dedicated to him and all the swords he has felled through the life of this game.
This cake shows Ferghus, standing in a crater created from his manly power crushing the earth like an unblessed mace at night during a storm. The result is as we can see. The earth ripples from the shockwaves of his manliness and broken swords lie strewn in his path.

Ferghus laughs carelessly as there isn't a single entity in Mabinogi that can match his strength.

I don't really bake, but figured this could be fun. And I really want that figure. So I gave it a shot. Total spent on preparing this cake: ~$50 due to oversupplying and buying enough materials for this cake four times over. Total time spent on this cake: 5 hours on day 1, 6 hours on day 2. There was a significant amount of experimentation.
Ferghus was made out of marzipan and food coloring. I cut up some unused Pei-Wei chopsticks I had lying around with wirecutters and used those as a skeletal frame and used fudge frosting for his hair and beard. It took 3 attempts to make Ferghus correctly.
Originally, the swords were to be made of sugar glass. Upon experimentation (read: failure), sugar glass was deemed too time consuming and difficult to make. Therefore, the swords were made out of very thin sugar cookies. Ironically, Ferghus destroyed nearly all of the cookie swords. Out of all 18 swords made, these were the only ones that were left to even be put on the cake. Ferghus certainly lives up to his reputation even in real life.
For this cake, the cake itself is a pretty straightforward chocolate cake. Because chocolate cake is delicious and its a fact. Frosting is just white vanilla frosting with food coloring.
Looks a bit messy, but I contribute that to Ferghus's rugged manliness flowing onto my cake. Full sized high resolution pictures at different angles at request.
