Wow. That happened to me too, but I had no idea why my hair had disappeared and an ugly 'Cute Orange Bang' I had no desire to keep took its place. I went out of my way to spend my money to get a NX card in hopes of getting certain items, one including the hair. And now they think they can just steal it? I spent $25 on that card and  I don't see how they should be able to just take the items I paid for.

Obviously they'll just ignore this thread forever, the only replies I've seen from the nexon people are like, completely useless PR, or they'll reply to one post that has little to nothing to do with thread topic, while ignoring the many other posts on topic just to make some little comment on how they're working hard, or they do listen, or how so and so's behavior is inappropriate :V

 The best thing you can do is send in a ticket to nexon rather than the forum.  Here they're not obligated to read or respond to your posts, but they do have an obligation to respond to a ticket, but from what I hear, you'll just get a copy and pasted generic response to most problems.  Better than nothing I suppose.  At the least, they'll have a more solid idea of how many people they've upset, and they can calculate if it's cheaper to ignore you guys  and risk losing your business, or compensate you guys and keep your business while possibly making other people jealous and upset.

you're pretty much right about nexon only responding to useless or uninformative threads/replies. the only person i see that attempts the forums are Hime, but even then she doesn't know anything because she's not a regular nexon employee (i think). i just hope nexon in the future will not steal our items like how they done already.

The Death Magna hair was a mistake Nexon made. They put that in instead of the Orange Cute Bang.

actually, i did lose something. i saw the item in the cash shop, tried, tried, tried to get it. after i got it a couple weeks later nexon decides it was a mistake and took it away. so yeah, i lost something.

I've always been curious about this but I'm sure there's somebody out there that's spent a ton of money on avatars and then couldn't play after they updated the game. Now wouldn't that suck, it's one of my fears when spending money on this. I've seen people posting that after an update the program doesn't run right.

Take a look at it from a programmers point of view and you'll see how common these mistakes are.

 

Good games are HARD to create and keep organized.  Bad games are EASY to create and keep organized.  You expect them to go through thousands of lines of the script and get everything perfect?  If they can't figure out where the bug is then they have to debug.  This is when they are forced to execute 1 line of the program at a time to find out where it is.  This is where the whole concept of bugs come in.  Faulty lines = exploitable bugs

 eg say xxx line was missing a bracket at the end or one of the letters was capitalized by accident in some random line

That is enough to create a big bug.  Programming games aren't easy.  Its quite the opposite and is ridiculously hard.

A) Why would you wait to lvl 30 to where the avatar? There are no lvl 30 avatars right now

B) Nexon doesn't owe you a refund, for your bad luck.You bought the coins. You tried to get it. Once you bought the coins, and spent them. It's your problem. They removed it and gave you a diffrent hair.

This topics old but... to answer A this hair is a level 30 avatar piece... they gave us it by mistake then removed it again and replace it with the correct avatar it was supposed to be.

as for B this is true Nexon won't give anyone a refund for it.
