Sounds like an issue with your monitor/screen saver. If you don't move your mouse/press keys on your keyboard, sometimes your screensaver will turn on and lag you sometimes or sometimes your monitor will turn off.

Alright to change your pin number, Open up Maple Story, then log in to your account, right when that screen comes up asking for your pin, enter your pin number BUT THIS TIME press change pin and then change it to whatever you need. To change your password, login to the Nexon website.
