Greetings Soldiers!

The Mission: Get ready for our second YouTube Contest! From September 3, 2009 to September 29, 2009, you will be able to participate in a Machinima Contest! 

For those who are unfamiliar with Machinima, (derived from machine and cinema) it is filmmaking created through the real-time recording of computer games, virtual worlds or any already-existing 3D digital environment or virtual world. A machinimist or machinimator (one who creates machinima) employs traditional filmmaking methods (scripting, editing, and cinematography) and tools (lighting, camera angles, props) to create original films via a virtual environment.



The Twist: Combat Arms Command has provided the beginning and the end of the story for you. It is up to you to figure out how the story transpires from beginning to end.

The Beginning:  Our story starts with 4 friends who have known each other since childhood.

The End:  Our story ends with an immense explosion.

The Middle:  This is up to you, so get creative! How did a story about 4 friends end in an explosion?

Post your Machinima video on YouTube and send it to the Combat Arms Youtube Channel. 


Remember:


• In the description, you MUST include your In Game Character Name. If you do not include your In Game Character Name, you will be immediately disqualified. If you have created the video as a group, you must include the In Game Character Names of each participating group member. 

• The video duration is limited to 1 minute and 30 seconds. Videos 1 minute and 31 seconds or longer will be immediately disqualified. 

• Inappropriate, racist, vulgar, or otherwise offensive videos will be immediately disqualified. 

• You (and all group members if applicable) must be both a registered YouTube user and a registered Nexon user to win.

• Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible subscribers.

•  Only one prize per winner. 
 
• Winners will be contacted for further information should it be required. All submissions MUST include your In Game Character Name!

•  Subscribers who violate the Nexon Terms of Use or the YouTube Terms of Service will be disqualified.

Upload your Machinima Video to YouTube before September 29th, 2009  and you’ll be eligible to win:

The first 50 eligibleubmissions will receive the following:

-One of 50 Surprise Supply Cases

10 Winners will receive the following:  


-One of ten 10,000 NX  Prizes 

Additionally, they will be entered into a raffle to receive one of the following:

When you've uploaded your Combat Arms video to YouTube, send a message to www.youtube.com/combatarms with a link to your video. We will be favoriting select videos. (Not being favorited on the Combat Arms YouTube channel does not automatically make you ineligible to win prizes.)
