The terrorist level, and no dedicated servers is a killer for me.

They just lost my $70 Canadian.  I was going to buy it to play with Team Paragon folks, but now, meh.  Forget about it.

I'll stick with companies that don't fail, and that listen to their player base, like BioWare.

You can't hack via the console. Not only that, but most SP cheats that you can enter via the console do not work in multiplayer because developers just aren't that stupid.

Ehhh my point was that the console could be used to learn the game's code.

I have little to none experience with using a console on a PC game so pardon me if my information is inaccurate.

Here's the thing about that, anyone can find out the code by using the mod tools that they themselves release, so that would be a problem either. Hacking was not, and is not, an issue in most pay to play games. You run into a hacker maybe once a day if you play for 8+ hours. You can do a few things in the console to tip the scales in your favor, but it's not uncommon knowledge nor illegal in public games. The information is sent back and forth and if you play competitively, you pretty much play the game in a modded form that simply cannot be tweaked.

    @Bele - Bioware = awesome.

    Hell yeah.

Dude, I wish you could see how customisable your charachter is in DAO.  I mean you can mess with your cheekbones.  How full your lips are... everything. Even how thick your neck is.

And the downloadable content hiccups I was having... Nope. entirely my fault.  Soon as I got logged in right, boom!  Theres my extra content.

And the game is [censored!] breathtakingly beautiful.

I can't wait to get some serious playtime in with it. I figure its going to be good for at least 4-5 playthroughs unmodded.

You should take the time to get Borderlands. It's a really fun game, like, once you're all good and done with DAO, which I know will take a while. Thing about Borderlands, I am going to be playing that game for quite a while because of the fact that if we set up nights where we all rolled characters at the same time and then ONLY played together, that would be so much fun, but I digress.

Now, some more opinions on MW2! Let's keep the Serious Business going!

    A few updates:

No console access (using the ~ key to do some things).
    No record function.
No kick function, so all of the awful players, they're there to stay.
No choice on who hosts the game.

    Yea.

Re: Serious Buisiness w/ Harold Sax - Week Two.

Reading this... I might not buy MW2 after all. My friends are getting it on consoles. Maybe I'll just wait for a cracked version. Mulitplayer on this game sounds like a downer.

From Game of the year (COD4) to this. Did they change the whole Infinity Ward staff or something, because this doesn't look to be one of their games.

    I think I'll stick to my 50 slot COD4 servers. It's better than 9v9.

I really hope the next game IW make, they think about it before they start making it. I thought making a sequel also required adopting 90% of the original sucessful game's concept.

Thanks for that info Harold, or I would've wasted AU$100.

My PC can't even run this game as heavy, so my x360 will be fine. ;D

God, they're treating it like the game was for the Wii.

I fight, fall, and against, all odds, stand back up.

Re: Serious Buisiness w/ Harold Sax - Week Two.

Borderlands is easily going to be a much better game in terms of replayability. If you have the three friends to play with then you're going to have a blast...unless one of them is Tekky and he's lagging SUPREMELY HARD.
